Uhuh, The problem is, in the IDE when DLL's are dynamically loaded, it doesn't include the app directory as part of the search pattern, instead it uses the CURRENT DIRECTORY, which is most of the time c:\progra~1\devstudio\vb or whatever. This doesn't seem to happen in Win2K, and you can easily get round this by setting your Current Directory to the app.path at startup of your app so that when you first call a function from the DLL, the app.path will be included in the search pattern.
