What I meant to say was that DirectPlay (or at least my directplay wrapper module) is full of weird bugs I can't explain. Stupid stuff that means it work on one project, but screws up when the same module/functions are used in another project, even with identical code.
I spent about a month tearing my hair out trying to figure it out and finally gave up after changing the programs around to be IDENTICAL in every way, and still one worked and one didn't. I haven't touched a line of DPlay code since and I don't want to anytime soon damnit!
