OK, firstly I think that bltfast is easier to use than blt, but that might just be my opinion. Secondly a 10% difference on each blt could have a tremendous impact on your game if your doing a lot of blts, I'm not exactly sure of how long it takes to blt, but when your doing it hundreds of times a loop it adds up. But saying that I'm pretty sure that most PCs have the correct display hardware, so most of them you wouldn't notice the speed difference.
