hi, has anyone ever come across the fish-eye effect in D3D? I think I have the correct term - It's where things appear to bend as the camera rotates. Example: I'm writing an engine (IM) that has lots of American style streets - buildings in a regular, block like pattern. At the moment they are just cubes of varying height. As you look down a row and turn around (left-right) the towers at the far-end of visibility seem to bend over - mathematically and programmatically they are still dead straight perpendicular to the floor - but they appear to lean towards one side.... I'm sure I've seen it mentioned before - to do with landscapes and so on...... Anybody have any idea? thanks, Jack,
