I won a Pre-Release of Windows ME and i'll be damned if it has DirectX 8 in it. Although I later installed DirectX 8 Beta so *shrug*. Also i've found nothing wrong with DirectX 8, maybe I'm not doing intensive thing's i'm not sure but i've had no problems with it.
