RE: X File Texture Mapping Carl Warwick (4 replies, 0 views) (2000-Aug-29) I couldn't figure out the reason behind the directory problem, maybe it was just my PC.
What I'm doing is storing the .x files (named link) in my level file, along with the name of the texture used by the model, then when loading the map, it loads the model, and then loads the textures manually where the normal texture would go for .x file models.
I'm thinking of changing to my own file format, so it doesn't have to use RM to load the textures.
