Well, I can see that you spent some time replying to my message, for that I thank you. I know that it is not going to be a very easy task to make a game lique Half Life in VB. But i'm not aiming for Half Life, I'm aiming a little bit further. Me and 8 guys that I know often play games on a LAN that we own, to test them, to learn from them, and you know... to blow a few heads off!!! :) And after playing Quake III, Unreal Tournament, Delta Force, Soldiers of Fortune, Half Life Team Fortress, Hidden & Dangerous, and a lot of other titles, we realised that by adding a few things that we see in this game to other things we see in that game we come across the game that we would like to make. That's where I'm aiming. And that's where I will get one day, but first things first. Gearbox made a very interesting game "Opposing Force" without even having to build a 3D engine. They actualy used the 3D engine building time to make more levels, more sound, etc, etc ,etc. So I figured that if I didn't had to worry about the 3D engine right now I could gain more time to use in game developing. This is the reason that makes me spend my nights (like this one) looking for a good 3D engine. The rest I think I will manage. I'm not even conserned about frame rate, this will be achieved later on. I belive that the first versions of Grand Prix III had the minimum requirenments of a Pentium III 500, with 256 Mb RAM and so on, and so on. After they saw that the game was actualy good they started to worry about velocity and the game got out pretty fast. So I wrote all this just to thank you for your time, and to ask where could I find out more about this Enigma engine? Best Regards José Silva
