RE: Enigma Screenshot Adam Hoult (4 replies, 0 views) (2000-Aug-3) ![]() Yep 100% VB+DirectX that shot, gets on average (with the BSP/OSP Culling turned on) 65 fps with multitexturing turned on etc (for the lightmaps), but thats before i've even started to optimise it =) (and also inside the IDE)
I only used the Half Life map as test data, while WorldGen was being completed, WorldGen is now almost complete (as far as creating the world goes) and i submitted that shot some time ago, so there should be a new Image Of The day in a few weeks (if they accept a second shot) showing off far more of it's capabilities, using our own world data, with particle systems etc (assuming Alex agrees to allow me to post the shot again =). (That shot on flipcode shows only about 15% of what it can actually do =)
