RE: decompile question Adam Hoult (1 reply, 1 views) (2000-Jul-18) I have all the decompiler's for vb3/4 and 5, and have never ONCE been able to decompile ANY VB program successfully. (even VB3 programs). I have an exe (written with VB4) that i needed to restore the code from but the decompilers are useless. The vb5 one, doesn't even return code, just uselss info (and thats it's actual purpose, not because it doesn't work =). Of course there is no way to stop someone decompiling it to ASM, but who wants to do that =)
But no, if your using VB5 or above and you use the Native compiler, it's just as secure as a C++ program, don't worry about it.
