VB Purchasing PyroBoy (0 replies, 0 views) (2000-Jul-16)

The first time I ever saw VB was in a computer class at school. It was VB 2.0 for Win 3.11 and I copied it onto about 10 floppy disks and brought it home. The next version of VB I aquired, and the one I still use today, is VB 5.0 Enterprise edition which my friend with a CD burner copied for me. This summer, that same friend's gonna hook me up with the full Visual Studio 7 on burned CDs. M$ has plenty of money, and I could give 2 shits whether they get some of mine. Hell, the last peice of comercial software I actually paid for was the original C&C back in '95... I realise that being a software developer that doesn't pay for software makes me quite frankly evil, but what am I gonna do? Sit back and watch everyone else learn this stuff cuz I'm too poor to afford it? No thanks. I'm sure many of you are in the same boat here...
