Hey, I'm just wondering is there any like ocx or active x controls of 3d engines. Where I can just import the control into my visual basic project then asign it to my form and then from there on just use things like 3dengine.renderprettysquae 3dengine.renderprettytexture (prettysquare) 3dengine.rendermodel (3dstdiomaxmodel) and stuff like that... u get the picture. Anyway, I'm not wondering this cause I'm lazy and don't want to write my own engine, I'm just really unexperienced in 3d grafx and I really want some sort of easy way to start learning without having to learn directx or opengl right of the start. I have looked at True Vision and a couple other engines... forget their names... the only one I could get to work at all was the True Vision one... and well it didn't really work all that well all it did was flash my screen really really fast. Anyway if anyone has any ideas of a 3d engine like this I would love to know... something easy that I don't have to write the code for
