Well, I can explain that, I do believe. 5 bits for red, 5 bits for green, and 5 bits for blue. (555). 5 bits for red, 6 bits for green, 5 bits for blue. (565) I believe the human eye is more sensitive to small changes in green than red or blue. Dont really know why. Correct me if im wrong, please. I think that 555 mode is actually 15 bit, where 565 is true 16-bit, isnt it? Hmm... anyways...
