ASP vs PHP3/4 Lynx of CP (0 replies, 0 views) (2000-Jun-28)

Yeah, I finally convinced my brother to let me run a Web Server on our internet server, on the condition it was secure (We had a small hacking incident using our proxy's web server) So, I installed Apache, cause it's a name I trust. Only problem is... They have native support for HTML and CGI, but ASP and PHP3/4 are modules, which I can't figure out how to use/install... Our copy of NT 4 is stuffed, so, that's completely out of the question. But I too would like a Dynamic page creation tool. Cause there are just some things you CANT do in HTML/JavaScript. So, I've been looking around, I've found a few tutorial sites for PHP and I'll look for ASP later, but if anybody can give me any suggestions on how I can get this all up and running, I would REALLY appreciate it.... (I know David seems the expert ;) Reguards, Steven Blom AKA LynxofCP (Lynx of Central Programming)
