RE: Shadows in D3D Noah Adler (1 reply, 0 views) (2000-Jun-26) I thought someone certainly would have mentioned this already, but there is a very good article at http://www.gamasutra.com/features/19991115/bestimt_freitag_01.htm on using stencil buffers for real-time shadows in Direct3D.
Also, I believe there are a couple examples in the C++ section of the SDK that could be worth checking out.
