Personally, I love linux, and hate windoze with a passion :) But, both have their good points, and I'm basically just joking about how much I hate windoze most of the time... Linux *is* great because of its ease to program for, and the free software/source issues. The only problem: it's still not the standard, and you can't get a lot of the 'latest and greatest' software (mostly) that's out there for windoze (ie: GAMES). I find that by running linux 24/7 I missed out on a lot of stuff that all my friends were telling me to try (games, little windows progs, etc). Yes, there's WINE and VMWare, but they just don't cut it on 64 meg of ram... That's why I run linux as my server, but windows 2k on my workstation computer most of the time... So Glib... Just a warning: the feeling of absolute love for linux will wear of in a year or two (unless things change rapidly, which they tend to do sometimes hehe)... it did for me. David
