hi, I noticed that my site was getting a little publicity around here - cheers Carl!! Here's the basic idea behind it: It has 40+ Theory pages - bits explaining things without code. It has 57 DirectX and gaming Tutorials It has a dictionary of all 26 letter (coo!!) and all DirectX things that go under the letters!! It's got lots of stuff for beginners - everything is covered; the only thing that is assumed is that you can write VB code. On the other hand; there are plenty of parts for people looking at the more complex stuff - Alpha Blending, C++ DLL's, Sound Streaming, D3D, Gamma.... As you may know, Carl (Warwick) is working with me on this - writing the D3D Tutorials, there are also a few other people interested in writing stuff. If any of you out there are interested in writing or providing example and/or information, give me a shout either on this board or Email me. Jollyjeffers@Greenonions.netscapeonline.co.uk There are three main things that I'm interested in: 1. Tutorials; interesting things that you can do explained. 2. Theory; If you understand something about DirectX really well, write a short piece about it for others. 3. Games; If anyone has a game they want to explain send it to me - even the theory and the planning ideas behind it would be good 4. Game Diaries; Have you got a game in development? Want to post a diary of how you're developing it? Send it to me. Of course, anything you write has your name on it. Not mine.
