uhh.. Warder (8 replies, 0 views) (2000-Jun-14) 40% increase, hmm? That's interesting, that DLL must be in ASM then... Ive tried an C++ DLL doing DX calls, and just use plain VB, and the only difference was 2 fps.. thats all.. and nothing else... So it really wasn't worth using lame C++ for a 2 fps increase, when I can make the same thing in VB with a hell-quicker dev time. I never tried it with an ASM DLL.. though it may be fast with ASM then the rest.. who knows..
