Thanks for feedback :) Jason Li (0 replies, 0 views) (2000-Jun-11) I hope Adam doesn't mind if I continue this here =o)
Thanks for those questions, I've compiled a FAQ at the contest url:
http://vbgh.thenexus.bc.ca/contest/main.php3
I've taken out the theme because I think right now I need more starting contestants, so it's just any show-off-gfx-oldschool-demo. In short the answers to your questions are:
Uploading will be via the AnonFTP once it gets set up again, same FTP as the games to be reviewd, and ppl can d/l each others as the FTP contents can be linked via a HTTP directory (doesn't come to mind atm, but i'll ask).
Uploads can be re-done, overwritten, just ask me to delete the old one, late entries or updates will probably be allowed up to a couple of days if there is great progress/good excuse.
Teams are fine and encouraged, suffering only minimal minor penalisation.
The last query, I cannot solve; the source code issue:
I would love that everyone release their source code to the project YET I also know that, especially for those with entries belonging to a game under development, there are those who think their hardwork shouldn't be just downloadable to the masses for cut&paste. I guess I will just have to trust you personaly..
Any other solution? Does VB watermark its EXEs?
